Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your hotel
On your arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will meet our company driver/ guide who will brief you about the safari and after the briefing, you will transfer to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Hotel Entebbe.as you truly relax from the jet lag and prepare for the next day’s adventure. Day 2: Transfer to Murchison falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Night Game Drive
Early morning, the driver will pick you up from your hotel and brief you before heading out to Murchison falls which is in the northern part of Uganda. Along the way, you will make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola where rhinos are being reintroduced to the wild in Uganda so that you have a complete feel of the African Big five mammals as it is the Rhinos, out of the big five that are missing in Murchison Falls National park. Here you will go for a trek around the sanctuary on foot. You will have lunch at the sanctuary and some relaxation for an indefinitely short time and embark on an exciting road trip to Murchison falls, arriving in the evening, after check-in at the lodge your safari guide will lead you for the night game drive in Murchison falls national park in look out for the nocturnal and night grassers like lions, hyenas, leopards among others proceed back to the lodge for relaxation and dinner at Lodge Meal plan: All meals are included
Day 3: Morning game drive, Boat cruise, and hike to the top of the falls
After an early morning warm-up tea/coffee, you will transfer for a game drive to the northern bank in search of animals like Lions, Giraffes, oribis, Elephants, Jackson’s hartebeests, Uganda kobs, and Buffaloes among other animals and bird species. You will then return to the lodge in time for lunch and relax preparing for yet an exciting activity in the afternoon. After lunch, transfer for a three hours boat ride on the Nile River to the bottom of the falls where you will have the opportunity to view animals like; crocodiles, and hippos, in the water and some on the river banks, while; buffaloes, waterbucks, and elephants are often seen on the river bank grazing and drinking water. You will then have to hike to the top of the falls for a clear view of the falls. Return to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner, and overnight at Lodge. Meal plan: All meals are included
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale forest national park-the primates
After a healthy breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale Forest National Park, the capital world of Primates such as chimpanzees, baboons, and monkeys. With en-route lunch meals. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge for relaxation.
Later in the day, you shall transfer to the Bigodi Wetlands, situated on the eastern edge of the forest. There you shall take a light walk in the wetlands to observe plenty of wildlife including birds and many monkey species. You will rest for a day at Camp. Meal plan: All meals are included
Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Community Walk
Early in the morning, you will go to the briefing pion at the park headquarters. Kibale national park is the primate capital of East Africa. Chimpanzee trekking is a fulfilling adventure that takes you deep in the tropical forest across streams of water. You might have sightings of red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white Columbus monkeys, butterflies, and birds calling from the canopies while on this safari. With the help of your guide, you will locate the chimps. Enjoy picture moments and watch them as they play and feed. In the afternoon you will visit Bigodi Village and the wetland known for its rich diversity of birds and primates depending on the availability of time. By taking this tour, you are contributing to the development of this community because the proceeds are used to build schools and offer small loans.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Via Crater Lake Visit and Night Game Drive
Today after breakfast, our tour continues to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a wildlife experience in the plain of Kasenyi. The drive will take us through views of several crater lakes and the mystical Rwenzori Mountain ranges en route. On arrival in the park, we shall have a small game drive as we proceed to the lodge for lunch and Dinner and overnight at Lodge
Day 7: Whole day in Queen Elizabeth National Park-Game drive and Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel/optional community walk
Have an early morning breakfast then go for a morning game drive within the park. Anticipate seeing the famous big five including Buffalos, elephants, Lions and other mammals like Giant forest hog, Bush bucks, Kobs, Hyenas and water bucks. In the afternoon hours you will partake in a launch cruise along Kazinga channel. You will appreciate the high scores of Elephants, Hippos, Buffalos and crocodiles. A number of bird species will also be seen along including the rare shoe bill. Diner and overnight at Lodge. Meal plan: All meals are included
Day 8: Tree-climbing lions in Ishasha and transfer to Bwindi Gorilla land for the Batwa Community Walk
Transfer through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park on the way to Bwindi, and this area is known for its tree-climbing lions. In Ishasha we will drive off in this adventurous vast savannah area with Topis and African Elephants plus to hopefully get the Lions high in the fig tree branches. You will have lunch in Ishasha and continue with the transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Here you will experience a change in the landscape from flat savanna, via cultivated hills to jungle covered mountains. Upon arrival in Bwindi Impenetrable national park, you will head for the cultural tour to the Batwa forest pygmies community to experience their lifestyle and enjoy their excellent traditional dance. Day 9: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable forest-
Transfer to Lake Mburo National park and Night game drive. After breakfast and briefing by park ranger guides, depart with picnic lunch boxes to start the trekking – the activity can last up to 4 hours trek or more to find the Mountain gorillas as you hike up and down slippery slopes with dense mist covered vegetation. Hence you will have packed lunch for this activity. This active quest will eventually bring you to the face of one of the most sought after creatures-the mountain gorillas. Upon reaching them, you will have a full hour with them while observing and learning their behavior as you take photos. Dinner and overnight at Lodge. Meal plan:All meals are included
Day 10: Morning Horse Back Ride and transfer to Entebbe international airport via the equator line!
After having an early breakfast, go for a morning Horse Back in Lake Mburo national park. This park is famous for Zebras, Impalas, Giraffes, Elands, Cape Buffalos and many tropical bird species.,checkout of the hotel and transfer to Entebbe international airport to readily catch your flight back home in the evening as you say farewell to the pearl of Africa!!.But along the way, you will make stopover at the Equator line to have an authentic feel of standing at Latitude 00
