Overview
This 6-day Kenya safari tour is a wonderful safari experience that includes wildlife sightings such as the big five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos), breathtaking vistas, and stunning terrain. This safari trip begins and ends in Mombasa and visits of four wonderful destinations: Tsavo East National Park, Tsavo West National Park, Amboseli National Park, and Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.

Detailed Itinerary of 6 days Kenya Safari
Day 1: Transfer from Mombasa to Tsavo East, do afternoon game drive
One of our drivers will pick you up from your Mombasa accommodation facility and transport you to Tsavo East National Park. After a 4-hour trip, you will arrive at the famed park, which is known for its big elephant population as well as the infamous man-eating lions of the past. As you make your way to your lodge, take on the end-route game drive to arrive in time for lunch. Following Lunch and some downtime, you will go on a late afternoon game drive in looking for the various species that occupy Kenya’s largest protected region. You will able to spot animals such as lions, red elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, lesser kadu, gerenuk, waterbucks, and many birds. In the evening you will retire in your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Drive from Tsavo East to Tsavo West and game drive
Rise up very early for breakfast before being driven to Tsavo West National Park, which is around a two-hour journey and 120 kilometers distant. You’ll check into your lodge for some rest and leisure before heading out for an afternoon game drive in Tsavo West National Park.
In the afternoon you shall embark on a game drive to spot some of the big five in this region and also go to Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary to look for some of the shy and endangered species of black rhinos, which like to forage in the thick vegetation. We will also see Mzima Springs, the park’s most famous attraction, where fish, massive crocodiles, and some large hippos thrive in sparkling, transparent springs. You will be able to witness life in the pool’s depths by entering the underwater glass observation chamber. It also offers unusual photo opportunities, such as gliding Nile crocodiles or hippopotamuses swimming on tiptoe, as well as multitudes of fish with a primitive appearance. After this exciting day, you will return to your lodge for dinner and a night’s rest.

Day 3: Transfer from Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, you embark on a 2-hour drive to Amboseli National Park through Shetani lava flow, a location of crumpled black lava following an eruption assumed to have happened approximately two centuries ago and today inhabited by klipspringers and rock hyraxes. “Shetani” means “devil” in Swahili, which explains how the early residents felt as they watched the lava flow across the country. You will arrive at Amboseli in time for lunch, where you will check into your lodge for lunch along with some rest.
You will proceed for an afternoon game drive to explore the park, which is located in the foothills of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. Search for the spectacular fauna that inhabits the park, which has amazing mountain backdrop vistas that provide ample photographic opportunity. You may view Amboseli’s highly attractive elephants plus heavyweight predators like lion, leopard, hyena, and cheetah, along with their prey including buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and antelope. In the evening return back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Full-day game drive in Amboseli National park
This day begins with an ample breakfast. You then spend a full day in Amboseli, including a picnic lunch and breathtaking views of Mountain Kilimanjaro. Yellow baboons, Blue wildebeest, Coke’s hartebeest, spotted hyena, striped hyena, Black-backed jackal, Honey badger, Bat-eared fox, fringe-eared Oryx, long-necked gerenuks, towering giraffes, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Serval, Warthog, and Zebra will be among the animals you see. Over 420 bird species will captivate bird enthusiasts.
Although the fact that Amboseli is home to a diverse diversity of species, elephants are the most well-known residents. They are abundant and have some of the largest body and tusk sizes in Africa. This park is where biologists first witnessed some of these graceful giants’ most astonishing actions. Herds were first recognized as close-knit groups in Amboseli, where elephants were observed celebrating births, making friendships, and mourning the death of a family member.
You may visit a local Masai village in the later hours before returning to the resort for dinner. Discover the culture and traditions of the Masai people of this region of Kenya, as well as how they use conservation to their advantage.

Day 5: Transfer from Amboseli to Taita Hills Sanctuary
After breakfast, you will be met by your safari driver and undertake your 5- 6 hour drive to Taita Hill Wildlife through the Mombasa route. Taita Hill Wildlife Sanctuary is a privately managed wildlife sanctuary situated within Taita-Taveta County. It covers an area of 110 square kilometers and is home to wildlife species such as cape buffalo, African bush elephant, leopard, lions, cheetah, Masai giraffe, zebras, Thomson’s gazelle, lesser kudu, dik-dik, and an abundant bird population.
Once you arrive at the sanctuary, you will enjoy lunch at the lodge before going on a game drive to see numerous animals and birds. In the evening, you will have dinner and spend the night at your lodge

Day 6: Drive from Taita Hills Sanctuary to Mombasa for the departure
After a leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred back to Mombasa on a 4-hour drive with an end-of-trip game drive. Depending on the time of your flight, you will be accompanied to the airport for your departing flight.
