Day 1: Moshi to Tarangire National Park

Morning: Depart from Moshi after breakfast with lunch box for Tarangire National Park (approximately 3-4 hours drive). Enjoy the scenic drive through the Tanzanian countryside, passing villages and vast landscapes.

Afternoon: Begin your afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and abundant wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, and antelope species.

Overnight: Stay at Tarangire Safari Lodge (FB).

Day 2: Full Day in Tarangire National Park

Early Morning: After breakfast, head out for an early morning game drive to catch predators in action and see wildlife at their most active.

Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park or return to the lodge for a meal.

Afternoon: Continue exploring the park. Visit the Tarangire River, a popular area for animal sightings, especially during the dry season when animals congregate to drink.

Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and relax, enjoying the stunning surroundings.

Day 3: Early Morning Visit to the Hadzabe Tribe, Overnight at Marera Lodge

Early Morning: After breakfast, drive to the Hadzabe Tribe near Lake Eyasi (approximately 1.5-2 hours drive). The Hadzabe are one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in the world. You’ll have the chance to interact with the tribe, learn about their traditional way of life, and possibly join them in a hunting or gathering activity.

Afternoon: After your visit to the Hadzabe, drive to Marera Lodge (about 1.5 hours from Lake Eyasi).

Evening: Check-in to Marera Lodge, relax, and enjoy dinner at the lodge.

Overnight: Stay at Marera Lodge.

Day 4: Drive to Serengeti National Park (Overnight at Dancing Duma Lodge)

Morning: After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park (approximately 4-5 hours). Stop for scenic views along the way and enjoy a packed lunch or a lunch stop en route.

Afternoon: Arrive at Dancing Duma Lodge in central Serengeti. After checking in, enjoy a short afternoon game drive to explore the area and get a first glimpse of the Serengeti’s wildlife.

Evening: Return to Dancing Duma Lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Overnight: Stay at Dancing Duma Lodge (FB).

Day 5: Explore Central Serengeti

Early Morning: Enjoy an early breakfast and depart for a full-day game drive in central Serengeti (Seronera area). The central Serengeti is the heart of the park and offers excellent opportunities to see predators, such as lions and leopards, along with large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. Depending on the season, you may also witness the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras.

Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park or return to Dancing Duma Lodge for lunch.

Afternoon: Continue exploring the Serengeti, visiting different areas such as the Seronera River, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife.

Evening: Return to the lodge for a delightful dinner and enjoy the views.

Overnight: Stay at Dancing Duma Lodge (FB).

Day 6: Drive to Ngorongoro Crater, Evening Drive to Karatu

Morning: After breakfast, begin your drive to Ngorongoro Crater (approximately 3-4 hours). Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive on the crater floor, home to a variety of wildlife including black rhinos, elephants, lions, and numerous bird species.

Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater or at a designated picnic spot.

Afternoon: Explore more of the crater, taking in the dramatic landscapes and diverse wildlife.

Late Afternoon: Drive to Karatu (about 1 hour from the crater).

Evening: Arrive at Marera Lodge in Karatu, relax, and enjoy dinner.

Day 7: Visit Lake Manyara National Park, Then Drive to Arusha

Early Morning: After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park (about 30 minutes from Karatu). Explore the park’s unique features, including its large populations of tree-climbing lions, large flocks of flamingos, and diverse birdlife. The park is also home to elephants, giraffes, baboons, and more.

Lunch: Have a picnic lunch in the park.

Afternoon: After lunch, take a final game drive in Lake Manyara before heading back to Arusha (approximately 2-3 hours drive).

Evening: Arrive in Arusha, and depending on your onward plans, you can either stay in Arusha or head to the airport for your next destination.
