After lunch, board a boat for the legendary Kazinga Channel cruise, a 32-kilometer natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Once-in-a-lifetime mountain gorilla encounter.
This is the day you've been waiting for — mountain gorilla trekking in the misty depths of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After an early breakfast and briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, set off into the dense forest following expert trackers who have already located a habituated gorilla family. The trek can last from one to six hours through steep, vine-tangled terrain, but the reward is extraordinary: a full hour sitting just meters away from a silverback-led gorilla family as they feed, groom, and play. Watch tiny infants tumble through the undergrowth while the mighty silverback keeps a watchful eye — an encounter that will stay with you forever.
