Entebbe — Ziwa — Murchison Falls
Rhino tracking at Ziwa, drive to Murchison.
Morning drive north with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking on foot — the only place in Uganda to see wild rhinos! Continue to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest and most dramatic park. Evening relaxation at the lodge.

Murchison Falls — Game Drive & Boat Cruise
Morning game drive, afternoon Nile boat cruise to the falls.
Early morning game drive on the northern bank — lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and Uganda kob. Afternoon boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to the base of the thundering Murchison Falls. Hippos, crocodiles and over 450 bird species line the banks.

Fly or drive to remote Kidepo Valley National Park.

Kidepo Valley — Full Day Game Drives
Explore Narus & Kidepo valleys for rare wildlife.
Full day exploring Kidepo's two valleys. The Narus Valley hosts lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and cheetahs. Drive to the Kidepo Valley to search for ostriches, bat-eared foxes and large herds of Jackson's hartebeest. Optional visit to the Karamojong cultural village for an authentic tribal experience.

Travel south to the stunning Sipi Falls on Mount Elgon.
Depart Kidepo and drive south through the Karamoja region to Sipi Falls on the slopes of Mount Elgon. This trio of spectacular waterfalls cascading off volcanic cliffs offers breathtaking views. Evening nature walk to the main falls with a local guide.

Drive west to chimpanzee territory in Kibale.

Kibale — Chimpanzee Tracking
Morning chimp trek in the primate capital of the world.
Morning briefing at Kanyanchu, then trek into the rainforest to find habituated chimpanzee communities. Spend up to 4 hours observing chimps swinging, feeding and socialising. Also spot red colobus monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys and grey-cheeked mangabeys. Afternoon optional Bigodi Wetland walk for birding and primates.

Drive to Queen Elizabeth, afternoon game drive.
Drive south through the scenic Rwenzori foothills to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Afternoon game drive on the Kasenyi Plains — lions, leopards, elephants, Uganda kob and warthogs roam the open savannah against a backdrop of the distant Mountains of the Moon.

Ishasha — Bwindi — Gorilla Trekking
THE highlight — face to face with mountain gorillas.
Early morning drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Briefing at the park headquarters, then trek into the dense forest with expert trackers. Spend a magical hour with a habituated gorilla family — watching silverbacks, mothers and babies in their natural habitat. A truly life-changing, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Return to Entebbe for departure.
